If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and cheques out of the casino. Pack only the money you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You can experience a profit after a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and gamble. The two just don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a bit drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you play to profit, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to blow your assets nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but don’t take plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your dead drunk brain loses all the cash!
