If you enjoy having a a cocktail ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and cheques at home. Take only the cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You can have a win following a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to catch a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story because it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a little excessive, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you gamble to win, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to burn your money nary a concern, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and checks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your befuddled brain loses all the cash!
Let me to take this one step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condominium, however since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
What’s the reason? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for an awful, and expensive, drink.
